Welcome to Ask Seek Knock

Welcome

Welcome to Ask, Seek, and Knock. Up until a few years ago, I was an atheist believing all religions were made up explanations that we no longer need since we have science. At one point, one of my Christian friends started speaking to me about a family situation. He described the spiritual warfare he saw his family members under, which was intriguing for me. I had always heard of Christians denying anything exists outside of their God, however he described fallen angels as active among the world…
After other conversations we had later on, I learned true Christianity holds that the “false gods” are real and are actually fallen angels. The term “false” was only applied to indicate they are not the true God but instead act as gods in a false manner. He and others acknowledged that the pagan gods of the past and the gods of other religions are real and they held that we are in a spiritual war of sorts. After some time, I decided to learn about their God for myself and opened the Scriptures. I read His revelation to mankind through the Israelites and found that everything He warned them about is happening today because we try to live without Him.

The truth is at our fingertips and all we have to do is reach for it. If we aren’t actively participating in the life God wants to give us, we cannot accept that gift. After learning my previous convictions were wrong, I became fascinated with the God of Israel and the Son of God, Jesus Christ. There is a fascinating interrelationship between Christianity and world religions throughout history and in the present. This is not a journey to continue to seek the truth, that has already been revealed to us through the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is a journey of continuation, seeking to find the unseen connections and relationships between all the world religions. My journey has only begun and I thank you for joining me on this path of continuing to dive into religion throughout human history.

I hope you too will find fruit in these endeavors.
